Ella Kesego Pheko is a corporate governance and regulatory compliance professional with over 12 years of experience advising organisations on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, Board matters and risk management. She holds a Bachelor of Laws Honours degree from the University of Pretoria, together with various professional certifications in compliance and enterprise risk management.
Ella specializes in strengthening corporate governance frameworks, supporting effective Board and committee operations, and ensuring that organisations maintain high standards of accountability, transparency and ethical leadership. She brings a strong understanding of the legal and regulatory environment and is experienced in translating complex regulatory requirements into practical governance and compliance measures that support sound decision-making.
In her previous role as Head of Legal and Board Secretary at Minet Botswana, Ella provided strategic legal and governance support to the organisation and its Board.
