LLR Donates P120,000.00 worth of equipment to assist children


As part of LLR’s commitment to drive priority projects involving children and education to secure a sustainable future for all , LLR has adopted the children’s hostel in the Otse Village to uplift the wellbeing and education of children. LLR Donated utensils and equipment to support caretakers in providing for the children’s needs more efficiently.

The donation comprised of two 10.5kg heavy duty washing machines, an industrial steam press that can press many shirts at once, as well as the installation of children’s lockers. LLR further donated protective equipment in a form of face masks, large saucepans, and a 5,000-litre JoJo tank to address water shortages in the village.

The project was completed in partnership with the Mahalapye Sub-District Council. The hostel accommodates a total of 72 destitute children with ages ranging from 6– 16, being 36 girls and 36 boys.
