Miss RADP 2023 and Mr RADP fashion show contest


Miss RADP 2023 and Mr RADP Fashion show contests, which took place at Mahalapye Community Hall on 28 October 2023 was fun filled. The event featured 15 contestants and of that number 9 were girls for the Miss RADP beauty contest whilst 6 boys battled out in the Mr RADP Fashion show.

Miss RADP 2023: The winner of the Miss RADP 2023 pageant is Gomolemo Molwanta, a 19-year-old from Mokgenene village. Gomolemo won a crown and received a cash prize of P5000.00 courtesy of Letlole La Rona Limited (LLR).

She will represent Mahalapye District Council in the national beauty contest in Gaborone on November 25, competing against contestants from other districts. The first princess is Katlego Boitshwarelo, 24, of Moralane, who won P2500.00. The second princess is Gillian Motsamai, 22, also from Mokgenene, and she won a prize of P1500.00. The other contestants received consolation prizes of P1000.00 each. In total, there were nine girls who competed in the beauty contest, and Letlole La Rona Limited spent P15,000.00 for prizes in the girls' category.

Mr RADP Fashion Show: The winner of the Mr RADP Fashion Show is Omponye Kearate, 22, from Mokgenene. Omponye received a cash prize of P5000.00. The first prince is Phenyo Kgotlaesele, 23, of Otse, who won P2500.00. The second prince is Aobakwe Mojamatlho, 18, from Mokgenene, who won P1500.00. The other three contestants received consolation prizes of P1000.00 each. There were six boys who participated in the fashion show, and Letlole La Rona Limited spent P12,000.00 on cash prizes for this category.

In total, Letlole La Rona spent P27,000.00 in cash prizes for both contests. In 2019, Letlole La Rona adopted Otse RADS Hostel, indicating their support for the local community and up lifting their lives. This kind of involvement can have a positive impact on the lives of those involved and contribute to the development of the community.
