Otse RADS Hostel Kids Winter Clothes Donation Ceremony
As part of Corporate Social Responsibility, the well renowned real estate market leader in Botswana Letlole La Rona Limited has adopted the Otse Village Children’s Hostel. The hostel is under the custodian of Mahalapye District Council, which provides care and education for 89 underprivileged children aged 7-14 from various settlements and farming communities in the sub-district. The children are under the council’s care, providing for their basic needs such as food, clothing, and shelter. By adopting the Otse Village Children’s Hostel LLR is making a meaningful and positive impact on the lives of these children and the broader community. Initiatives like these not only reflect a company's commitment to social responsibility but also demonstrate its dedication to making a difference in the communities where they operate.
On the 7th June 2024 Letlola La Rona staff visited Otse RADS Hostel for the annual kids winter clothes donation ceremony. The clothes donated include school tracksuits, shirts, trousers, slacks for girls, and personal clothing such as tracksuits, sneakers, socks, beanies, gloves, vests, stockings and long johns. LLR sourced the school uniforms from local tailors in Otse, supporting local businesses and fostering community development and empowerment.
