Corporate Social Responsibility
Letlole La Rona Limited, in collaboration with the Mahalapye District Council, successfully hosted a Sports Day on July 26, 2024, at the Otse RADS Hostel, located at Setlhomo Primary School.
The primary objective of this event was to promote the holistic development of children by encouraging physical health, social skills, confidence, and a positive attitude toward physical activity and teamwork. This Sports Day underscored the importance of such initiatives in fostering inclusivity and well-being among less privileged students.
Participants were divided into three teams: Team Lion (Red), Team Zebra (Blue), and Team Leopard (Orange). All students and staff from the RADS Hostel, along with Letlole La Rona staff, representatives from the Mahalapye District Council, and invited guests, took part in various activities, including track events (100m, 200m, relay), football, and tug of war.
In a display of teamwork and determination, Team Zebra emerged as the champion and was awarded the winning trophy. The event was a great success, reinforcing the values of community, sportsmanship, and physical fitness.
